Andy Miller is working on beefing up the transom of the Bertram Moppie, and after some setbacks and some lessons with MEK, he does a great job explaining his use of our TotalBoat Polyester Structural Repair Putty. He’s using the polyester putty to fill in the gap where he’s adding the reinforcement. He needs that area to be flush in order to bond another piece of the board to the transom. Andy will then sandwich the pieces together using epoxy resin. But first, he has to cure the putty using gelcoat because he chose our laminating putty which doesn’t have wax to help it cure. Tune into Andy’s Bertram rehab for today’s video of the week.
