With the TotalBoat Work Skiff upright and ready for more work on the topsides, Lou gets right to work designing the sheer. This sweeping angle at the front of the boat is what will give the boat it’s pretty profile and will provide some needed protection from the waves when underway. Lou also likes a high sheer forward so it can be leaned up against with your knees for stability when raking for clams – an original use for these hardworking skiffs.
Lou and filmmaker Halsey Fulton have been working very diligently on the skiff build and the skiff series creation. We are so pleased to be a part of this series. We will be taking the next two weeks off from the series and will resume in 2017.
We know how much you all have been enjoying the videos and we are so happy to be a part of this very cool project.
