It’s finally that time of the year, a time that many makers across the country count down to! Maker Camp in the Catskill Mountains at Blackthorne Resort is back and you know TotalBoat will be there! If you’re unfamiliar with Maker Camp, we’d like to break it down for you (and ultimately convince you to attend the camp in the future).
From the Catskill Mountain Maker Camp website:
TotalBoat will have a booth at camp where we will host demonstrations throughout the weekend. Special guests Andrea Fandetti (@craftswithdre) and Lindsay Zuelich (@wood_brain) will be with us to do some Razzo and Epoxy demonstrations.

In addition, this year we’ve teamed up with a couple other booths for some fun collaborative projects! Saburrtooth Tools will be working with makers to power carve their own coaster, and after they can be brought over to the TotalBoat tent to finish off in epoxy. We’ll also be partnering with OneFinity to do some epoxy inlay demos.
Last but not least, MakeReggata, a can’t miss experience, is returning from last year and will happen on the final day of camp on Sunday at Blackthorne Duck Pond. Throughout the weekend the TotalBoat tent will be stocked with tools and supplies so attendees can make their own little ’Total’ boat, and we’ll have experienced boat builder Keith Mitchell (@shipwrightskill) and the TB crew there to help guide everyone. Makers will have the freedom to put their own unique and creative touches to their boat and race them at the MakeReggata!
