NOTE: The round mold holds approximately 12 oz. of mixed epoxy; the rectangular mold holds approximately 14 oz. Keep in mind that embedded objects can affect the volume of mixed epoxy needed to fill the mold.

How much epoxy do these silicone molds hold?
The round mold holds approximately 12 oz. of mixed epoxy, which is resin and hardener combined. The rectangular mold holds approximately 14 oz. of mixed epoxy. Note that if you add any embedded objects, this can affect the volume of mixed epoxy needed. -
Can I use TotalBoat High Performance Epoxy in these molds?
Yes, our clear High Performance 2:1 Epoxy will also work. It has a simple 2:1 mix ratio by volume and can be tinted with epoxy-safe colorants. -
Can I use TotalBoat ThickSet or ThickSet Fathom in these resin molds?
Do not use TotalBoat ThickSet or ThickSet Fathom because these deep pour epoxies are not designed for shallow molds. -
Do I need a heat gun to pop bubbles in the epoxy?
Bubbles can form depending on the ambient temperature and how you stir the resin & hardener, then stir again to mix in the tints. Make sure the temperature in your work area is appropriate for the epoxy you’re using – between 70°F – 80°F is usually ideal. When stirring, stir slowly to avoid creating excess bubbles. When pouring, pour slowly so you don’t introduce bubbles. Larger bubbles will most likely rise to the surface and pop on their own. To remove smaller bubbles, use a heat gun on its lowest setting and wave it back and forth quickly, a few inches above the surface. Because of the silicone molds, we do not recommend using a small torch to pop bubbles. -
Do the TotalBoat charcuterie board resin molds come with epoxy, tints and a heat gun?
